6 Reasons You Should Use HubSpot For Your Business’s Social Media Management

When it comes to your business’s social media, you are probably struggling with one of the most challenging decisions – finding the right social media management tool for your business.

You researched all the bells and whistles. Sales reps have been filling your LinkedIn inbox with Free Demo offers. You have been going from pricing page to pricing page trying to remember “which one offered what again.”

I understand how overwhelming I can be. I have done that same search as Social Media Manager at ROI Online! I have been there, and I made it through to the other side.

So, today, I’m going to help you do the same. I’m going to show you 6 reasons why I use HubSpot for all of our social media management to help you determine if switching your social media to HubSpot might be the right decision for your business!

1. Post Scheduling

This is something that was a deal breaker if a platform didn’t have it, but most tools I looked at tried to at least offer post scheduling. I schedule our social calendar and all of our client’s calendars a full month in advance — and sometimes longer if I can. So having a place that I can schedule out what I am posting and what I want to say is critical!

Post scheduling is an added plus for busy business owners like yourself because it frees up your time. You don’t have to worry about remembering to post that picture to Facebook or sharing that blog out on LinkedIn. You can schedule everything ahead of time at the beginning of the month and reap the benefits all month long!

2. Social Reports

This is an important piece that you will have difficulties managing without. You need to be able to track what content is working for you, what your ROI for your ads are, how many leads are coming in and so much more!

HubSpot provides detailed reports to help you keep track of what posts worked and what posts missed the mark. Even if you are only able to run reports twice a year, you’ll be able to take the uncertainties out of your social media management.

3. Campaign Data

What I love about scheduling everything through HubSpot is, when you schedule it, you are permitted to add that post to a campaign. That means you can see how many of your leads or conversions came from your emails, your social or anything else in that campaign.

This is an excellent feature if you want all of your data to be in one spot. (Which, who wouldn’t want everything to be in one place?) You can track how effective a campaign performed across all platforms so you know whether to replicate it in the future or to try a new strategy.

4. Social Monitoring

Within the social tool, there is also social monitoring. You can see the engagement that people have had on your posts. You see who followed you on all the platforms, who commented, who liked your posts, and more.

Even better, you can actually interact with customers directly through HubSpot! HubSpot also has some social listening capabilities and will allow you to follow “streams” on Twitter. It puts all your notifications in one place so you don’t have to monitor Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn at the same time.

5. Shopify Integration

Does your business have an online store? HubSpot might be just what you need.

Last May, HubSpot announced that they would be integrating Shopify into their platform. The great news about this is: you can nurture your leads and turn them into paying customers with all the HubSpot capabilities.

You will be able to capture emails through Instagram and automatically place them in your HubSpot CRM. You will be able to send email series to people that have abandoned their shopping cart and so much more! This was a big step for both Shopify and HubSpot, alike.

6. Lead Nurturing

Speaking of lead nurturing, this is precisely what we need to do for our audience on social media. Too often, businesses are so concerned about sales that they forget that you actually have to build a relationship with your audience before they buy from you.

If all you post is “buy buy buy,” no one will be attracted to you. You need to be posting content that will fill each of the StoryBrand buckets and the match the lead’s place in the buyer's journey. Attract, convert, close, delight. This process is so much easier when you have HubSpot on your side. You can add value to your customers at each stage of their journey.

So What Are You Waiting For?

As you can see, HubSpot is unlike any other social media management tool on the market. It not only has the necessities that the other tools offer, but it also goes above and beyond and offers you so much more than you would need.

It seems scary to learn how to do all of this on your own. That is why we have a whole team of HubSpot certified experts that are ready to help your company walk through this process. And we’re happy to do just that!
